Chocolate Choc-Chip Banana Icecream


  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1 tsp banana essence
  • 2 Tblsps xylitol syrup, honey or sweetener of choice to taste
  • 2 Tblsps cocoa
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet choc chips


Peel and chop the bananas into chunks. Freeze for a few hours or overnight. Put the frozen bananas into a food processor and whizz till almost smooth.

Add all the other ingredients, except for the choc-chips. Process till as smooth as u prefer.

Stir in 3/4 of the choc-chips. Scoop into an ice-cream dish then sprinkle the rest of the choc-chips on top. Freeze for a few hours before serving.
