Makkah Emir starts Hajj campaign for ethical behavior

MAKKAH — Saudi Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah and chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, has launched the annual “Hajj is Worship and Civilized Behavior.” campaign. This year the campaign’s theme is: “Hajj is a message of peace,” the Saudi Gazette reported recently.

The campaign, in its eighth version, is aimed at enlightening the pilgrims and residents on the true spirit of the pilgrimage which is worshiping Almighty Allah while at the same time behaving ethically during the entire Hajj season. The campaign also aims to ensure that pilgrims are provided the best possible services from the time of their arrival and departure from Saudi Arabia.
